As a singing cellist, BJ Griffin blends his backgrounds of classical cello and pop-r&b-funk vocals to create genre-bending musical messages full of passion and soul. Vocally, he has a timbre that is rivaled as a "young Stevie Wonder" with a technical prowess that makes for a perfect combination to captivate any audience. His original music has a mixed feel of pop, punk, alternative and gospel-sometimes in the same song. He performs with a galaxy of musicians in his full band BJ Griffin and there Galaxy Groove but will be performing this show with his pianist Jason Brown and guitarist Gabe Jimenez. Together they blend conventional and unconventional sounds from each instrument to compliment and translate BJ's music.
